Americanuck Radio was thrilled to have Mr. John McAllister join the program today.
A veteran broadcaster, Mr. McAllister is a strong proponent of Alberta becoming the 51st state of the United States. He’s interviewed some big names in both Canada and the U.S., which include Pierre Elliott Trudeau, and George W. Bush. John packs some serious bonafides in the industry.
Today, John dropped by to discuss the abject failings of Canadian confederation, and the ever burgeoning movement to make Alberta the 51st state of the union. Traction is being gained toward that end. What can Alberta offer to the U.S. as a state? John mentions oil and gas independence as a key element to what the United States would gain with admission of Alberta. The foolish cancelling of oil pipelines cuts throats on both sides of the border, but it needn’t be that way. Before opposing what would literally be a match made in heaven, people must do their research before blindly following what the current ruling class on both sides of the 49th do or say. Opinion doesn’t change laws, but cold hard facts can. Enjoy this thought provoking discussion between Mike and John in full.
