Columbus, OH – Bodycam footage of the fatal shooting at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital has just been released today.

The shooting occurred on Monday afternoon after police found Miles Jackson passed out in his vehicle and he was transported to the ER. Police discovered he had several warrants out for his arrest.

Police were searching Jackson in preparation for a custody exchange when they felt a gun in his waistband. A struggle began and an officer used a stun gun at which point Jackson fell to the floor. There is a sound of a shot being fired reportedly from the gun in Jackson’s possession. Officers then draw their weapons and order Jackson to raise his hands. The officer uses the stun gun again and then there is the sound of a second shot fired, reportedly from Jackson. At that point officers fire multiple shots at Jackson.

Medical staff attempted to revive Jackson but he was pronounced dead.
