A new study shows the liberal stronghold of San Francisco lost more residents between 2019 and 2020 than any other major US city.
In a report from the commercial realty firm CBRE Group, analysis shows that San Francisco los about 18 residents per 1,000 people in 2020, compared to losing just 9 residents out of every 1,000 the year prior.
The majority of those fleeing SF moved to other areas of California, however the number of people who moved to Texas increased by 32.1% between 2019 and 2020, and those who moved to Florida rose by 46.2%.
Tech companies moving to a work-from-home setting during the pandemic allowed employees to flee the city to less expensive and safe areas, causing the mass exodus. As many as 89,000 households have left San Francisco between March and November of 2020.
It’s not just COVID that is chasing people away. The homeless population in the Bay Area city is exploding, with one report showing a 285% increase of homeless tents and structures in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco just from January to May of 2020.
Nancy Pelosi does not want you to see this.
This is her district. Filmed this morning. Pelosi can kneel and pander in DC — but this is how a many black people live in the district she has represented for 33 years.
I hope she sees this in her mansion: pic.twitter.com/CtZqbELNoo

The quality of life continues to decline in most large Democrat controlled cities. In 2020, SF burglaries went up by more than 46%, and motor vehicle thefts increased by 22%.
With a combination of bad policy by lawmakers and Marxist District Attorneys like SF’s Chesa Boudin, don’t expect people to begin moving to San Francisco anytime soon.
Unfortunately, this is what has happened to our city. The broad daylight theft of people’s belongings is not new. But people are obviously fed up. This is the type of crime that Boudin does not feel is worthy of strenuous prosecution nor jail time. https://t.co/aNrLrhAtl8

At least 10 auto burglaries. Possession of firearms. All with extended magazines. Possession of burglary tools. Hit & run. This crew was arrested by SFPD. Given their ages, 16 to 18, don’t expect our DA to do much.https://t.co/pkW05aJuv2
