It seems the narrative of the January 6th ‘insurrection’ may be falling apart.  This while people charged with trespassing are being held with no bail.  In a story published by American Greatness, a previously unseen video filmed while protestors entered the Capitol tells a different story than you may have heard from the left.

The video shows US Capitol Police Officers, including one that appears to be of higher rank, standing behind protestors inside the Capitol.  One of the protestors says, “The police here are willing to work with us and cooperate peacefully, like our 1st Amendment allows. Gather more Americans under the condition that they will come together peacefully to discuss what needs to be done to save our country.”

A USCP officer can be heard saying, “Show us no attacking, no assault, remain calm.” Jacob Chansley, the infamous “Q Shaman” can then be heard saying, “This has to be peaceful, we have the right to peacefully assemble” to the crowd.

American Greatness reported the video contradicts what prosecutors alleged in their criminal filing against Chansley, which read: “(Officer) Robishaw and other officers calmed the protestors somewhat and directed them to leave the area from the same way they had entered. Chansley approached Officer Robishaw and screamed, among other things, that this was their house, and that they were there to take the Capitol, and to get Congressional leaders.”

It seems there may be a discrepancy between what the prosecution claims, and the video evidence. Chansley was not charged with violence, but was charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct.  He is being held without bail pending trial.  Chansley does not have a criminal record.
