Colorado Springs, CO. – A Colorado Springs Police Department Officer was shot and wounded after attempting to stop two motorcycles on Friday night.
The CSPD issued a warrant on Saturday for the arrest of Jacob Aaron Sedillo, 25, for attempted first-degree murder. He is not yet in custody and is considered armed and dangerous.
The shooting occurred late Friday in the parking lot of 3010 N. Nevada Ave. The unidentified officer saw two suspicious motorcycles and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. One of the motorcyclists shot and hit the officer and then fled, the other stayed on the scene.

Police say the wounded officer was not able to return fire. He was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to survive.

Mr. Sedillo is described as a White male, Hispanic origin, 5’11”, approximately 165 pounds, brown hair, with green eyes.
