Harlem, NY – Video was posted by the NYPD’s Chief of Department showing a New York City Police Officer saving a stabbing victim’s life by using an empty bag of chips and tape.


The incident occurred on Wednesday July 7 in Harlem when police responded to a call of a stabbing on Lenox Avenue. When Officer Ronald Kennedy arrived on the scene he discovered the stabbing victim and immediately took charge. Officer Kennedy improvised with the supplies he had on hand using a bag of chips and some tape to cover up the victim’s wounds.

The victim was transported to a Harlem hospital. According to the attending physician at Harlem hospital the heroic actions of Officer Kennedy saved the victim’s life.
