Rochester, NY – Mayor Lovely Warren and her husband Timothy Granison have just been charged with criminal possession of a firearm, two counts of failure to secure firearms in a home and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
The charges are a result of a raid of the Mayor’s home that occurred back on May 19. The raid was related to Granison being part of a drug trafficking conspiracy. During the raid a rifle and pistol were found inside the home where Mayor Warren’s 10 year old daughter was left alone. Mayor Warren claims that she has been estranged from her husband for a long time.
Outside of the current charges Warren also was indicted back in October on campaign finance fraud charges. The prosecutors alleged that she broke campaign finance rules during her last reelection campaign.

In the summer of 2020 many people called for her to resign over the death of Daniel Prude. Allegedly Rochester Police Officers placed a hood over Prude’s head and pressed him into the pavement until he stopped breathing. The media and Left’s narrative of the case was VERY different than the reality. Although the autopsy report ruled Prude’s death a homicide and also included the contributing factors to his death as “excited delirium and acute intoxication by phencyclidine, or PCP”. Officials, including Warren, remained quiet about Prude’s death until the family obtained the Police bodycam footage.
Mayor Warren believes that the raid in her home was rooted in politics. She believes that because it appeared that the campaign fraud charges were going to be dropped the raid was an effort to get her out of office.
“There’s nothing implicating me in these charges announced today because I’ve done nothing wrong,” – Mayor Lovely Warren
However Mayor Warren will soon be out of office since she lost the primary in June to Malik Evans.
