Days after the Capitol riot that took place on January 6, Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley held a top-secret meeting with senior military officials in which he blocked the president from potentially launching nuclear weapons. He also told staffers to ignore all orders except for his own.

This was all revealed in the new book “Peril” by journalists Bob Woodward and Robert Costa, according to CNN.

Woodward and Costa wrote that Milley “was certain that Trump had gone into a serious mental decline in the aftermath of the election, with Trump now all but manic, screaming at officials and constructing his own alternate reality about endless election conspiracies.”

They added that Milley feared that Trump would “go rogue.”

During the meeting, Milley ordered the officials who lead the National Military Command Center not to take orders from anyone except him.

“No matter what you are told, you do the procedure. You do the process. And I’m part of that procedure,” Milley reportedly told them before getting verbal confirmation from every individual in the room.

“Got it?” he asked, with the journalists saying that he considered this to be “an oath.”

Milley reportedly took part in two back-channel phone calls with China’s top general and received a frantic phone call from Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

“What I’m saying to you is that if they couldn’t even stop him from an assault on the Capitol, who even knows what else he may do? And is there anybody in charge at the White House who was doing anything but kissing his fat butt all over this?” Pelosi asked Milley. “You know he’s crazy. He’s been crazy for a long time.”

“Madam Speaker, I agree with you on everything,” Milley responded.

After getting off the phone with Pelosi, Milley told his top service chiefs to monitor everything “all the time” before contacting Paul Nakasone, director of the National Security Agency, and saying, “Needles up … keep watching, scan.” He then told then-CIA Director Gina Haspel, “Aggressively watch everything, 360.”

“Milley was overseeing the mobilization of America’s national security state without the knowledge of the American people or the rest of the world,” the book alleged.

Pelosi seemingly addressed her conversation publicly on January 8.

“This morning, I spoke to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley to discuss available precautions for preventing an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing the launch codes and ordering a nuclear strike,” Pelosi wrote in a letter. “The situation of this unhinged President could not be more dangerous, and we must do everything that we can to protect the American people from his unbalanced assault on our country and our democracy.”

What Milley did here is truly unacceptable, and shows just how deranged the political establishment’s hatred for Trump really was. If anyone should have their nuclear powers stripped of them, it’s our current idiot President Joe Biden.
