Chicago, IL – Video footage from inside the home caught a mom fatally shooting her 12-year-old son over a missing memory card on Saturday morning.

Fallon Harris confronted her son about the missing memory card on Saturday morning. The boy stated that he did not know where the card was, and Fallon shot him. At this point, the boy is still conscious and crying.


Fallon asked her son a second time where the memory card was, and when he stated that he didn’t know, she proceeded to shoot him again. This time the shot was fatal. In the home video footage, you can see the boy drop to the kitchen floor.

The boy was transferred to the University of Chicago Medical Center and pronounced dead at the hospital around 10:15 am.

Apparently, according to court documents, Fallon was the one who had removed the memory card from the car. Fallon admitted to shooting her son and even showed police the weapon she used to kill him. Fallon did have a concealed carry license.

According to family members, Fallon had been acting paranoid lately. She is being charged with first-degree murder. According to the medical report from the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, the boy died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head.
