The people the Biden administration tells us are cordial and businesslike, the people the Secretary of State has praised for their moderation, the people who ran us out of Afghanistan, are now admitting they are who it is apparent they are to everybody but the Biden administration: medieval savages.

FNC: “Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, a founder of the Taliban who will control prisons under the new government in Afghanistan, said strict punishment, including amputations and executions, will return.

Under the Taliban’s previous rule of Afghanistan, Turabi served as justice minister, and head of the so-called Ministry of Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, a position the Associated Press stated was ‘the religious police.’ During that time, amputations and executions were carried out for criminal offenses, including theft and highway robbery. According to Turabi, those same practices will be brought back.”

So, after 20 years of war, it’s as if we were never there as if all those deaths were just a nightmare. It is a nightmare. But one the people of Afghanistan, and many of our vets, will not wake up from.

Do you think President Biden should be impeached for the crisis in Afghanistan and loss of American lives?

“Cutting off of hands is very necessary for security,” Turabi said. “Everyone criticized us for the punishments in the stadium, but we have never said anything about their laws and their punishments. No one will tell us what our laws should be. We will follow Islam, and we will make our laws on the Quran.” Ah yes, just pussycats, eh Joe?

The regime intends to use media, including social media, to publicize amputations and executions. “Now we know instead of reaching just hundreds, we can reach millions,” Turabi said. Perhaps local cable could produce “Saturday Night Dead” or “Amputation of the Week.” The syndication rights alone could buy turbans for so many underprivileged mullahs.

In related news, Christians are under attack throughout the country. Christian leader Gia Chacon told the press that “everyone’s been paying attention to what’s been going on in Afghanistan … the reports of Christians who are now hunted down … killed for their faith. We’ve heard reports of Christians who have been killed just for having a Bible on their phone and pastors being sent messages, warnings from the Taliban to cease operations from their home churches. Christians who are already under threat in the country are now facing an increase of violence and will continue to face this increase of violence in the country,” said Chacon.

A former ambassador for International Religious Freedom, Sam Brownback, told the media that right now in Afghanistan, there is the “highest level of Christian martyrdom in the history of Christendom. We really should be standing up for them more, even whether you’re a person of faith or not. These are people that are being persecuted simply for peacefully practicing their faith, and they’re dying for it…For the Christian community, it’s horrible. I want to say it was livable when we were there, and now it’s just become deadly.”
