The rapper Nicki Minaj has found herself in hot water with the left this week after she admitted that she is unvaccinated against COVID-19 and has significant doubts about the vaccine itself. Now, Whoopi Goldberg and her fellow hosts of the liberal talk show “The View” are speaking out to shame Minaj for her vaccine stance.

It all started when Minaj revealed on Twitter earlier in the week that she would not be attending the Met gala because of the vaccination requirement for attendees, writing, “if I get vaccinated, it won’t for the Met. It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now. In the meantime, my loves, be safe. Wear the mask with two strings that grips your head & face. Not that loose one.”

“My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent,” she later added. “His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married. Now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.”

This did not sit well with Goldberg and her liberal cohosts on “The View.”

“She’s a wonderful girl. She makes great music. I would not take advice from her about getting a shot,” Goldberg said.

The cohosts were particularly upset that Minaj claimed she had not had enough time to research the vaccine herself even though the pandemic had been ongoing for two years.

“She’s not going to the Met Gala, so she had time the other night,” co-host Joy Behar chimed in to say, with co-host Sunny Hostin adding, “I don’t want Nicki Minaj coming after me. She does have 22 million followers, so she has some platform. But I would implore people who do have big platforms to do their research.”

“This has now become an international incident,” said co-host Ana Navarro. “How many people are there in Trinidad? A million? And no one has reported these particular side effects.”

While much of the media has been attacking Minaj for her vaccine stance, Fox News host Tucker Carlson defended her.

“It’s Nicki Minaj’s cousin’s friend’s testicles that are swollen from taking the vax. That’s the claim,” Carlson said. “But it’s not anything to do with the physical effect of the vaccine that makes our political class mad. It’s the last part of Nicki Minaj’s tweet that enrages them.”

He added that the “media and public health officials” didn’t like Minaj’s tweet because “they make their livings bullying people.”

Minaj posted the clip on her Twitter page with a target emoji, indicating that she liked what Carlson had to say on her behalf.

This public shaming of Minaj from the media and the left needs to end. She has every right to be concerned about the vaccine and not to get the shot.

Stay strong, Nicki Minaj.
