Multiple governors are ready to sue Biden over the vaccine mandate once it actually exists. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced he would sue, stating he was “offended that a police officer could potentially lose their job” if they didn’t get the vaccine.
Governor DeSantis promised to take legal action if the mandate actually came into existence because no one should be forced to choose to get vaccinated or lose their job.
“Let’s not have Biden come in and effectively take away — threaten to take away — the jobs of people who have been working hard throughout this entire pandemic,” – Governor Ron DeSantis
Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt is also ready to take legal action against Biden over the vaccine mandate once it comes into existence.
“Getting the vaccine is a personal choice. Period. Static, one-size-fits-all mandates simply do not fit the reality we are in today. In Oklahoma, cases and hospitalizations are down nearly 50%. As this virus evolves, so does the science and the treatments available, including natural immunity.” – Governor Kevin Stitt.
The vaccine mandate has finally been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget, but until the rule is published in the Federal Register, it does not exist. If the ruling is approved, it will operate under a rulemaking mechanism known as a temporary emergency standard. The rule would apply to any business with 100 or more employees. If the rule goes into effect, it will impact approximately 80 million workers in the United States.
