On October 20th, Marine veteran James Kilcer was visiting the Chevron gas station near Fortuna Road and the I-8 when three suspects tried to rob the store. Without hesitation, the Marine lunged into action and was able to subdue the suspect until the authorities arrived. Having done the right thing, Kilcer didn’t think much of it until the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office decided to honor the Marine with their own valor award on Tuesday. And in true American fashion, Kilcer accepted the award wearing none other than a MAGA hat and “Let’s Go Brandon” shirt.

Releasing a statement about the incident, the sheriff’s department said, “Upon arrival, Deputies learned of three suspects entering the Chevron, one of them armed with a handgun. The armed suspect walked next to a store customer while pointing the weapon toward the cashier when the customer acted immediately and disarmed him. When Deputies contacted the customer, who previously served in the United States Marine Corps, and asked how he was able to take control of the situation, he stated, ‘The Marine Corps taught me not to [mess] around.'”

Speaking with Fox News about the event, Kilcer added, “I turn around to go and leave, kind of walkout, and as I’m turning around, I hear the door kind of open real aggressively. At that point, the ‘spidey senses’ tingled a little bit. I saw two other guys with no other weapons and decided that’s the guy that I’m going to hit.”

As you can see in the video above, the Marine makes quick work of the suspects. But while he is being honored as a hero, Kilcer is using his time in the spotlight to spread some truth. Not only did he wear the MAGA hat and “Let’s Go Brandon” shirt, but he also told viewers on Fox News that “Epstein didn’t kill himself.”
