RACINE COUNTY, WI – On Thursday, Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling announced that Wisconsin’s election statutes were violated in the 2020 election.

Further, he said, “Election statute was in fact not just broken, but shattered by members of the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC).”

Based on the evidence accumulated, Sheriff Schmaling said that he is calling on Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul for an immediate investigation.

The Sheriff said that the investigation uncovered incidents that took place at a care home called Ridgewood Care Facility. There, eight out of 42 families reported that their family member living at the home did not have the cognitive ability to vote, despite them being recorded as having cast ballots.

Additionally, the investigating agent, Sergeant Michael Luell, said that the care facility saw an “unusual surge in voting activity” for 2020’s election.

The ballots allegedly cast were done via absentee ballot. Sheriff Schmaling expects to hear soon of other voter irregularities by other county sheriffs.

“Anyone who cares at all about election integrity owes the Racine County Sheriff’s Department a debt of gratitude for their work today,” Sheriff Schmaling said. “It is horrific that WEC’s choice to violate state laws may have led to bad actors taking advantage of vulnerable citizens in nursing homes. It’s time for Democrats, the Department of Justice, and the mainstream media to take election integrity concerns seriously.”
