While the Democrats and their woke followers attacked the Thanksgiving holiday as being a monument of the genocide on Native Americans, apparently the liberal left doesn’t much like Christmas either.

Although the Christmas season is a time to gather together and remember the love we have for each other, Black Lives Matter has decided to attack the holiday by supposedly showing the “connections between white-supremacist-capitalism & police violence.”

That’s right, Christmas isn’t a time for family or friends, as it is just another holiday that does nothing but support “white supremacist capitalism.” Using their official Twitter account, Black Lives Matter tweeted how they have spent the last seven years trying to expose the “truth” about Christmas.

And although some might believe the holiday is meant to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Black Lives Matter believes that is nothing but a distraction.

On top of the tweet shown above, BLM also shared a link to an article written by a professor of Pan-African Studies at Cal State Los Angeles and black lives matter activist, Melina Abdullah.

While the article, titled “#BlackXmas: Visioning Beyond the Weight of the Moment,” sets its aim on Christmas, Abdullah was sure to take some time to bash and criticize the verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial that was somehow led to “witnessing support for Black Lives Matter wane among white folks.”

Spreading her fact-less claims, Abdullah eventually got to the dangers of Christmas, writing, “For the last seven years, Black Lives Matter has been challenging people to ‘dream of a Black Xmas,’ to intentionally use our resources to: #BuildBlack (invest in Black-led, Black-serving organizations), #BuyBlack (spend exclusively with Black-owned businesses from Black Friday through New Year), and #BankBlack (move our money from white corporate banks to Black-owned ones).”

Reiterating what BLM doesn’t like about Christmas, the professor said, “In 2020, #BlackXmas expanded to a nationwide campaign, with a website, blackxmas.org, that provides a listing of organizations to support and businesses to shop. #BlackXmas is about not simply struggling against the systems that enable Rittenhouse, McMichaels, Schwartzman, Walmart, racist policing, violence, and exploitation, but fighting on our terms. #BlackXmas challenges us to shake off the chains of consumerism and step fully into our own collective power, to build new traditions, and run an offense as well as a defense.”

Abdullah concluded, “#BlackXmas is about being self-determined and felling existing structures by building new, and more viable, beneficial ones…in the names of our mightiest and most righteous warrior Ancestors, in the names of those stolen by police violence, in honor of our community, and as a commitment to the generations to come.”
