CNBC host Jim Cramer called for a nationwide vaxx mandate on Monday as he lashed out at Americans who have yet to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Cramer then said that this universal jab mandate should be enforced by the United States military.

“So it’s time to admit that we have to go to war against COVID,” Cramer said. “Require vaccination universally. Have the military run it. If you don’t want to get vaccinated, you better be ready to prove your conscientious objector status in court.”

Cramer went on to say that “toothless” requirements from government agencies like OSHA don’t go far enough in forcing people to get the jab.

“Nobody wants to be the bad guy, so we’ve allowed a pastiche of uncoordinated health organizations to dictate an on-again, off-again series of measures that mostly just leave us baffled and confused,” he said. “We haven’t ever centralized the issue to the point where the White House seems to take responsibility.”

Back in January, Cramer boasted about getting the jab on social media.

“Today is a great day!” Cramer wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of him getting the shot. “I encourage all of you who are eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine. One of the greatest things about turning 65. Even if it looks like there are no appointments left, don’t be discouraged, keep refreshing that page and you can get an appointment too!”

Though President Joe Biden has yet to discuss a national vaxx mandate, he spoke out on Monday to urge Americans everywhere to get the jab. He also suggested that if people do what they’re told and get vaccinated, he won’t put the United States on lockdown again.

“If people are vaccinated and wear their mask, there is no need for the lockdown,” Biden said during a speech from the White House about the new omicron variant of COVID-19.

When it comes to Christmas, Biden said, “If you and your family are fully vaccinated, you can celebrate the holidays much more safely than where we were last year. That’s a blessing none of us should take for granted. We’re trying everything we can as far as tracking it from every single angel. That’s what we have to keep doing.”

“That’s how we reopen our country. That’s how we reopen our businesses. That’s how we reopen our schools. That’s how we cope with a pandemic,” he concluded. “Now we remain to be seen exactly what the elements of this particular strain are. But if, as, I hope, then it’s not going to be fundamentally different than in the past.”

Red Voice Media would like to make a point of clarification on why we do not refer to any shot related to COVID-19 as a "vaccine." According to the CDC, the definition of a vaccine necessitates that said vaccine have a lasting effect of at least one year in preventing the contraction of the virus or disease it's intended to fight. Because all of the COVID-19 shots thus far available have barely offered six months of protection, and even then not absolute, Red Voice Media has made the decision hereafter to no longer refer to the Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson substances as vaccinations.
