Shocking photos have surfaced this week in which the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged former madam Ghislaine Maxwell are blessed by the Pope.
Epstein and Maxwell are believed to have flown to the Vatican via private jet for the blessing nearly twenty years ago.
“Pictures like this show just how powerful Epstein’s connections were and his ability to open almost any door,” a source told The Sun. “He managed to manipulate his way into royal palaces, the White House and the Vatican, all with Maxwell by his side.”
The photo shows Epstein wearing a dark suit and red-patterned tie as he knelt at the Pope’s feet with his ex-lover Maxwell, who is in a striped suit jacket and open-collar blue shirt. They are both smiling with their hands clenched as they gaze into the eyes of John Paul II, who led the Catholic Church from 1978 until his death in 2005. The photo is believed to have been taken in 2003.

Epstein’s flight logs show that he used his jet to fly from Rome to Madrid on May 20 that year. Onboard the jet were Maxwell, model scout Jean-Luc Brunel, pilot Pete Rathgeb and two passengers logged as “AM” and “JK.” Brunel, 75, was charged with rape and sexual assault of minors last year. There is no evidence whatsoever that Rathgeb knew of or was party to illegal activity.
While there is no record of Epstein arriving in Rome, flight logs put him in New York on May 12 and again by May 21.
Epstein allegedly killed himself back in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex charges. Maxwell is about to go to trial this month for allegedly recruiting young girls for the former financier and taking part in abuse. Prosecutors plan to use Maxwell’s “black book” against her, claiming it is “compelling evidence of her guilt.”
Court documents show that Epstein’s “scheduler” Adriana Ross is expected to testify against Maxwell. A former model, Ross is one of four female “co-conspirators” who has been granted immunity from prosecution as part of Epstein’s plea deal in 2008.
“I think my sister’s probably relieved finally that it is starting because she’s been in prison now for over 500 days in isolation, so this has to come to an end,” Maxwell’s brother Ian told The BBC. “The trial is starting, so I think there is relief on her part and, I think, the family’s part.”
Ian also expressed his fears that media interest in his sister’s case will jeopardize her shot at a fair trial.
“I think that there are several reasons for that; the enormous amount of negative media coverage of Ghislaine for at least the last 18 months – it’s only been going in one direction and that level of negative reporting which is not coming in any other direction than against her, I think it has a potential to poison the jury pool at some level if they are only hearing one side of the story and not the other,” he continued.
