VIENNA, AUSTRIA – With the country of Austria reportedly having a vaccination level of approximately 64%, a brothel in the country’s capital decided to offer an incentive to increase vaccination levels: by offering a 30-minute “sauna club” session with a “lady of their choice” if vaccinated at their location.

Apparently, it has come down to basically selling sex – well, maybe not exactly “sex” but a sexually appealing experience at the least – to encourage getting the jab. At least that’s the case in Vienna, Austria.

Fun Palast, which touts itself as a “sauna club” in Vienna that “offers relaxation, wellness, and lifestyle in an exclusive ambiance,” wants more Austrians to get vaccinated. As a result, they’re using the power of sex appeal – and free private sauna sessions with their ladies – to get people excited about getting the jab.

Realistically, life for the unvaccinated in Austria is already seemingly a bummer, as the unvaccinated are already barred from patronizing cafes, restaurants, and hairdressers. Soon, the country’s “2G” measure will also require that those seeking stays at hotels, looking to catch a movie, or attending an event with over 25 people will also require proof of vaccination.

On November 6th, Austria reportedly endured their largest number of new COVID cases in a single day, coming in at 9,586 reported instances. Thus, Fun Palast is encouraging people to get vaccinated at the brothel this month, where they can exchange some alone time with a preferred lady at their establishment.

The brothel noted in a statement that part of the effort is to help their bottom line, noting that “Due to the pandemic, we have registered a 50% decrease [in clients], with this initiative we hope that the number of customers will rise again.”

One man who visited the brothel to get his jab said that he “would have gotten vaccinated anyway, but the 2G rule has certainly accelerated things a little.”

Mina, one of the Fun Palast employees, cheered on the effort.

“Well, I think it’s a very good idea to have a vaccination street in the Fun Palast because the name fun palace suggests to have a bit of fun here and return back to normality a bit more. And I also think it’s a great idea that this is being offered for women, children, and of course men.”
