The Biden Regime’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm was just asked one of the most fundamental questions for someone with her duties.
She failed miserably with her answer of not knowing such basic information.
Reporter: There are various figures about this. I’m curious if you know how many barrels of oil does the U.S. consume per day?
Jennifer Granholm: I don’t have that number in front of me. Sorry.
Reporter: Some suggest it’s about 18 million, which would suggest you’re releasing less than three days worth of supply from the petroleum reserve.
How is it even possible for her not to have that information on the tip of her tongue?
If you were wondering the same thing, you’re not alone.
People online have questions too.
Here’s what they are saying…
“Idk about y’all, but when the U.S. Energy Sec has no idea on daily oil consumption, I’m left to wonder who’s at the wheel here…. Is this the most incompetent administration in the history of mankind?”
“When the news she is addressing is the release of 50MM barrels of strategic reserves, you can be sure she DOES know. Just doesn’t want the sound-bite to be the admission that the release is irrelevant, nothing more than that: a sound-bite.”
“Did anybody ask how many gallons in a barrel? I have a hunch she doesn’t know that either.”
“Isn’t that a basic figure the energy secretary should know when gas prices continue to rise?”
“That’s what happens when your administration focuses on hiring “woke” people instead of experts in their field.”
“Wow, we really are screwed, aren’t we?”
“Look. She’s the Energy Secretary, not the Barrels of Oil Secretary. How would she know this sort of thing? I’m sure she knows how many windmills are going roundly-round at any given time, though.”

“Excuse me, sir, but that was not in the job description. We need to fill positions based on color and genitalia. Everything else like skills to do the job is not necessary.”
“She does not know that?? That’s as easy as 2 + 2 if you’re in the business…. Wow.”
