CALIFORNIA – There are quite a few questions looming over California Governor Gavin Newsom having not made a public appearance since his October 27th receipt of a COVID booster shot that was highly publicized.
While a statement from his office on October 29th proclaimed that he was tending to family obligations, some are beginning to wonder if that is actually the case.
Independent journalist Jordan Schachtel took to Twitter on November 6th to highlight Governor Newsom’s bizarre absence in the realm of public appearances.
“Gavin Newsom hasn’t been seen in almost 2 weeks, after taking his “booster” shot in late Oct. He canceled his speech at the Climate Hoax summit in Europe. The event is of utmost virtue-signaling importance to ppl like Newsom. Where is Gavin Newsom? The public deserves to know.”

Strangely, Governor Newsom’s Twitter account went dark from October 28th to November 2nd, having resurfaced on Twitter to extended good luck toward then gubernatorial candidates Phil Murphy and Terry McAuliffe (obviously, things didn’t turn out too well for McAullife since he lost the Virginia race).
A report from ABC 7 mentioned the October 29th statement from Governor Newsom’s office that simply cited he’s going to be busy with familial matters.
“It’s rare, but not unprecedented, for Newsom to go a whole week without some type of appearance. Such absences are usually explained, including when Newsom leaves the state for vacation.
In this case, the only statement from Newsom’s office came Oct. 29 and referred to unspecified family obligations. No additional information about the family’s circumstances has been released.”
At the time of the October 29th announcement of family issues, it was reported that Governor Newsom intended to appear virtually at the United Nations climate summit in Scotland – yet the Associated Press reported that he missed his planned virtual appearance and that a spokesperson claimed he’ll appear virtually in the coming week.
“A week after abruptly canceling plans to attend the United Nations climate summit in Scotland, California Gov. Gavin has receded from public view to deal with unspecific family obligations.
When the surprising announcement was made Oct. 29, his office said Newsom planned to participate virtually in the conference this week. But he did not. Spokesperson Erin Mellon now says he will appear virtually next week.”
But no official is coming forward and saying what exactly Governor Newsom is doing with his family – and it has been 10 days since he’s been seen publicly.
Which begs the question: where’s Governor Newsom been following his booster shot?
