Rapper Drakeo the Ruler, whose real name is Darrell Caldwel, is reportedly dead after a stabbing backstage at the Los Angeles’ Once Upon a Time Festival.

The Festival was an all-day event in Los Angeles’ Exposition Park.

Caldwel was backstage around 8:30 pm when a fight broke out. According to Sources from TMZ, he was stabbed in the neck. Caldwel was rushed to the hospital, but he died from his injuries. Law Enforcement is still trying to interview all those who witnessed the fight and were in the area when the altercation occurred.

Snoop Dog canceled his performance before the decision was made to end the rest of the show.

 “There was an altercation in the roadway backstage. Out of respect for those involved and in coordination with local authorities, artists and organizers decided not to move forward with remaining sets, so the Festival was ended an hour early,” – Live Nation.

After the stabbing was reported, people at the concert rushed to get out of the park. The incident remains under investigation.
