During a recent appearance on Fox News, Democrat Senator Joe Manchin voiced his decision to not support President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better bill, justifying his position by stating that if he’s unable to “explain” the bill to the constituents in his state of West Virginia, then he “can’t vote for it.”

“I’ve always said this Bret, if I can’t go home and explain it to the people of West Virginia, I can’t vote for it. And I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation – I just can’t. I’ve tried everything humanly possible, and I can’t get there.”

Fox News host Bret Baier injected himself briefly, paraphrasing Senator Manchin’s statement as being a definite “no” to President Biden’s Build Back Better.

“You’re done. This is a ‘no.’”

Senator Manchin responded affirming Baier’s statement, saying, “This is a no on this legislation.”
