While President Joe Biden traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, to help push the Democrat’s agenda on election reform laws, one key member of the local, liberal community was absent. And although President Biden fumbled his words and even told another false story about his past, apparently the only thing some people were focused on was the fact that gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams was nowhere to be seen.
Before being pulled away to board Marine One, a reporter was able to get the attention of President Biden and asked him, “Are you insulted [Stacey Abrams] is skipping the speech?”
The President would quickly answer, “I’m insulted by the question. I spoke to Stacey this morning. We have a great relationship. We got our scheduling mixed up. I talked to her at length this morning. We’re all on the same page, and everything’s fine.” While Biden claims all is well within the party, what made the exchange so interesting is how the President treated social distancing and his mask while speaking with the press.
In the video above, President Biden is wearing his mask correctly until he is within speaking distance. He not only shifts the mask several times trying to find a comfortable spot, but he finally admitted that it looked stupid and simply took it off as if not knowing the same mandates his administration promotes.
As for Abrams, she might not have physically supported Biden, but she did tweet, “The fight for voting rights takes persistence. As MLK exhorted, ‘The clock of destiny is ticking out. We must act now before it is too late.’ Thank you, @POTUS, for refusing to relent until the work is finished. Welcome back to Georgia, where we get well done.”

While the Democrats might act as all is well, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough admitted, “I am not criticizing Stacey Abrams here. I am making a comment about the political standing of Joe Biden as seen from a woman who’s running for governor of Georgia and wants to win that election. Politicians show up with presidents when they have 52% of approval ratings. Politicians don’t show up with presidents when their approval ratings may be in the 30s in the state.”
