Comedian Bill Maher Gets Hip On The COVID Con, Says He’ll “Never Get A Booster Shot”

Comedian and self-identifying classic liberal Bill Maher is now among those to publicly question [1] the purpose and overall efficacy of the COVID booster shots, saying that he’ll never get a booster shot.”

The comments regarding the COVID booster shots came during an interview with Deadline [3] that was published on January 21st, where Maher rhetorically questioned why someone should get a COVID booster jab when individuals are still able to catch and spread the virus following the initial shot schedule and even the boosters.

Maher told Deadline that the original COVID jabs “do not prevent you from either transmitting it or getting the disease. We know that. That’s a fact now. They just prevent you from dying, which is a great part of it, let’s not undercount that.”

He continued from there, saying in light of this irrefutable facts about the original COVID jab, he’s not going to be sticking out his arm for a series of booster.

“But if they don’t prevent you from transmitting it and they don’t prevent you from getting it why are we still treating this disease the way we always have? And what the fuck is the use of a booster shot? Because I will never get a booster shot,” Maher proclaimed.

Apparently, Maher even revealed that he wasn’t thrilled about lining up for the first round of jabs last year but said he did it to “take one for the team.”

“It’s not only useless, but this is a very, very new vaccine,” he said. “Okay, I didn’t want the first vaccine. We should not treat people unfairly who want to allow their own immune system to take care of the situation. But okay, I took one for the team. Now, they’re giving a fourth one in Israel with the booster shots.

“Now, this I read in the front page of the New York Times, which is a very pro-vaccine publication, and even they printed that many scientists in Israel were against this, scientists and doctors, because they said it might have a reverse effect, something called immune system fatigue.”

Maher was referencing a December article from the New York Times [5] where experts were reacting to Israel’s notion of rolling out jab number four, which there indeed were – and printed in The Times no less – expressed concerns about “immune system fatigue” via over inoculation.

The comedian and late night talk show host calling back to the concept of immune system fatigue added, “Well, I don’t want that, do you? So, now you’re not protected by the vaccine or your immune system? I don’t think so.”

Looking back over the past two years, Maher stated that he was “never scared” of the virus itself, but rather “the reaction to it.” He says his concerns over the reaction have basically been confirmed.

“I was never scared of it,” he said. “I was always scared of the reaction to it, and as this has played out that only proved to be more true for me. I’m sure many people feel different, but that’s me. It was never that virulent a threat, I thought, to people who were in good health.”
