Video was captured of the arrest, which allegedly shows McDowell in the buff and getting handcuffed by officers.
The incident reportedly occurred on January 17th after dispatchers received a report of a nude man walking near a learning center in Deerfield Beach. Assistant State Attorney Eric Linder stated that McDowell had even entered the property of the learning center while nude. He said that children were inside of the facility at the time.
Per the arrest report, McDowell allegedly rushed a deputy at the scene “at full speed with a closed fist” and a scuffle ensued between the deputy and the suspect. The deputy reportedly had to use their taser to get McDowell under control, and he was subsequently taken into custody.

In response to the bizarre arrest, the Cleveland Browns issued a statement acknowledging that they’re aware of the situation.
“We are aware of the very concerning incident and arrest involving Malik McDowell and are in the process of gathering more information,” the statement said. “We understand the severity of this matter and our thoughts are for the well-being of all involved. We will have no further comment at this time.”
While authorities haven’t provided any possible motive for the unusual incident, an attorney for McDowell claims that “somebody may have slipped him something or given him something he was unaware of, which explains some of his bizarre behavior.”
This isn’t McDowell’s first brush with the law, as back in 2017 he was arrested for DUI and disorderly conduct and in 2019 he was charged for assault, resisting arrest, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The 2019 charges resulted in McDowell being sentenced to 11 months in jail.
McDowell was booked into the Broward County Jail following his arrest and it is unclear as of this time whether he’s posted bond.

Slipped him something? Are we waiting for him to seriously hurt someone, will mental illness be the excuse? He’s a miserable pedo that drowns himself in booze & drugs to rid his abnormal thoughts & desires for children PERIOD
