Broadcasting on live television is always a balancing act with unknowns and what-ifs, as practically anything could happen. And for one West Virginia TV reporter, apparently, her life flashed before her eyes during her live report when she was accidentally hit by a vehicle.

Reporting for WSAZ-TV, Tori Yorgey was giving her usual report about a water main that had broken in the area when suddenly a car hit her. What is even more surprising than the accident is how quickly Yorgey bounced back from the situation and continued to give her report to anchor Tim Irr.

All caught on camera, the video above showed the entire ordeal and how Tori joked, “Oh my God! I just got hit by a car, but I’m OK. I just got hit by a car, but I’m OK, Tim.”

Irr tried to keep the situation calm, stating, “Well, that’s a first for you on TV, Tori.”

Yorgey surprisingly added, “That’s live TV for you. It’s all good. I actually got hit by a car in college, too, just like that. I am so glad I’m OK.”

Not only has the video gone viral since being uploaded, but sadly Yorgey’s incident happened on her last week on the job. Starting in February, she will be switching over to an ABC affiliate in Pittsburgh.

Still, the reporter showered her city and state with love, writing, “I can’t even begin to describe the privilege and pleasure I’ve had bringing news into your homes the last three years. People in this Tri-State are truly amazing, some of the sweetest I’ve ever met. From offering me coffee on cold days, to helping carry my equipment–I always say the kindest people live here, and it’s true.”
