MIAMI BEACH, FL. – Several Democratic strongholds around the country have seen a drastic surge in crime, violence, and looting over the past year. While startling, this should come as no surprise given that the Democrats backed the Black Lives Matter movement, which called for police departments to be defunded. That agenda has led to numerous videos being uploaded showing criminals causally taking their time as they rob train cars, looting stores of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, and appearing to drive off into the sunset without any sort of repercussions. This has led to more crime, but while the videos might lead to copycats, one thief learned the hard way what happens when you try to steal from Gulf Liquors in Florida.

In the video, which is featured below, Jorge Zubigaray Jr. recounted the incident and how he watched a man grab two bottles of Don Julio Añejo and tried to leave. The owner’s son added, “My dad freaked out, came over here, told the guy, ‘Let me get the bottles.’ Pretended like he didn’t have the bottles in his backpack. Then my dad was like, ‘let me see,’ and tried to grab the bag, got a little, you know, violent with him.”
Instead of innocently standing by, watching the criminal steal, the dad took matters into his own hands and started beating the thief. Zubigaray Jr. admitted, “You’re not leaving with the bottles, ha-ha, you’re not leaving. We work hard for our things, and my dad works hard to maintain everyone here, the business, and it sucks that he comes over here stealing from us, you know.”
The Miami Beach Police were notified of the incident and the stolen liquor bottles were returned back to the store.

Pity his stick wasn’t a 12 gauge.
every shop owner should do this to the creeps, pretty soon it would stop when one of them pulls a gun and the shotgun under the counter cuts him in two.
Don’t use a shotgun! Think of the mess ya have to clean up.
If a shotgun creates a big mess then call for “community services” to clean it up. In this case the local DA should be required to show up with sponges spray clean and paper towels. This wouldnt be necessary if DAs locked up criminals.
It’s sad when it’s wrong for a store owner to defend his own property as we ignore the cause of crime rates skyrocketing.
Should’ve whacked him across his knees.
I can’t get the video to play.
Go on Rumble and search “Shoplifting Florida Man Gets Beat With A Club By Store Owner Tired Of Getting Robbed”. It plays fine on there.
I love a feel good story in the early afternoon.
This is EXACTLY how things should be handled. Don’t want to get a beat down? Don’t steal from people!
“Never take the law into your own hands.” Tell that to the thousands of people who have waited and paid a heavy price (including death) because the cops weren’t available. Sorry but the people have had enough. There was another incident where some guy walked into a RiteAid store and took a boatload of merchandise then walked out without any consequences. It’s insane!! It reminds me of the time I lived in Africa where there was mob rule. We witnessed the consequences of it when someone stole something. It wasn’t pretty. I would hate for that to happen here but at the same time, if the police can’t provide sufficient help, what other recourse is there? This evil lawlessness has got to end. Store owners have to be able to defend themselves and their property.
When the cops allow these things to happen the only choice is to take action yourself. The criminal get arrested released on low bond and kicked back out onto the streets. When law enforcement won’t do the job, the public will, that’s the choice they leave us. We will not lay down and be victims without a fight.
Exactly. Hell, in NYC now criminals get released without any bond at all. You’ve got guys admitting to the press that they’ve been arrested for shoplifting 50+ times in just a matter of months and every time they just walk out the door a couple of hours later. The whole system is just a revolving door thanks to poor blue leadership.
Good for them ,,,, kick their ass
Who orders the cops to tell people to not do anything?? I would say to the cops who are always telling citizens to not take the law into their hands, where the hell are you when things are going down? Nowhere to be found. Civilization was built by people who were forced to “take the law into their own hands” …. so to heck with cops who say that. We need to do what needs to be done to protect what is ours.
