Sincere Cole, a 15-year-old, was killed over the weekend after being shot 24 times at a gas station, only a block away from where he lived. He was there to buy snacks and drinks and, as has become the norm, no witnesses have come forward.

His aunt and legal guardian, Brandy Martin, was on Fox & Friends First to talk about what happened. She is incensed that the government is stringent on COVID-19 guidelines but ignores the violence happening in her city.

Chicago had 800 murders in 2021.

Martin said, “How is it that we can put so many guidelines on protecting each other from germs, and it’s been around forever, and we can’t put a stop to gun violence and protect each other from ourselves?”

She also said that democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot needs to go and that many people where she lives have no hope left after being “let down so much by the system.”

That’s because the “system” and the democrat party doesn’t care about the poor neighborhoods and the black-on-black crime. They only get their ire up when black criminals have run-ins with white police officers.

Martin said, “…first off, we need to change by getting a new mayor. We need someone who cares about our city. We need city officials who care and not just receive funding for our areas.”

Chicago has had corrupt politicians in charge forever, people with little to no concern about the people they are supposed to serve. Lightfoot’s “rule” and the pro-criminal democrat policies have only made it worse.

Martin said she hadn’t received any updates on the death of her nephew. She said, “Once you lose a child, you now have to become a detective, the judge, you know, the private eye and everything like that, including a spokesperson. The dead can’t speak for themselves, so we have to stand up and do something.”

Martin told WGN that Sincere was a good kid – a creative entrepreneur and would offer to pump people’s gas to make money. A local church is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and a Go Fund Me fundraiser has been set up for expenses for Sincere’s funeral.
