Rumors have been swirling over the past few weeks the two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is planning to run for president again in 2024. During an interview with “Morning Joe” on Tuesday morning, Clinton finally revealed what she’s planning to do when asked directly if she is going to run.

“No, no,” Clinton said with a laugh, according to Daily Mail. “But I am certainly going to be active in supporting women running for office and other candidates who I think should be reelected or elected, both women and men.”

Clinton may be saying that now, but she could still change her mind as 2024 gets closer. With Joe Biden more unpopular than ever, Democrats may end up deciding it’s safer to run somebody else, and it would be hard for Clinton to resist throwing in her hat, given how obsessed she is with becoming president.

In this same interview, Clinton slammed Russian President Vladimir Putin for “acting out his own insecurities” on the people of Ukraine by invading their country.

“It’s so heartbreaking to me that Putin is acting out his own insecurities, his own resentments and grievances against the people of Ukraine,” Clinton said. “Waging a war against a smaller state that is totally unprovoked as we have seen, really tells us everything we need to know about Putin.”

When asked how she thought the Russian invasion of Ukraine would end, Clinton replied, “I don’t know how it ends, but I think that probably the person who was most surprised that it is still going on is Vladimir Putin.

“The level of defense and determination that the Ukrainian people are showing, starting with their president, President Zelensky, going all the way down to, you know, grandmothers and young women taking up arms for the first time to defend their families and their communities – is tragic but inspiring,” Clinton continued. “And I hope that the world will stay with Ukraine while they try to protect their homeland, and all that they hold dear, including freedom and democracy.”

Clinton went on to say that even though the war is “far away…It is a war that will affect what kind of world we’re going to live in. And that’s why I hope everybody understands why we should be supporting the Ukrainian people going forward.”

With President Donald Trump also weighing running again in 2024, there could potentially be a rematch of the 2016 race, should Clinton change her mind about running. It would certainly be interesting to see how that would turn out.
