Americans and the world have watched over the last two weeks as Russia invaded Ukraine. Although a larger military and far superior, Vladimir Putin’s soldiers have repeatedly met opposition not only from Ukrainian fighters, but also from average citizens as well. The stories of bravery, sacrifice, and determination have painted the Ukrainians as nothing short of heroes. But behind that narrative is a developing story surrounding Russia, Ukraine, and secret biolabs that were funded by none other than…America.
In the video, which can be watched below, Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, who has been known to discuss some outlandish issues, admitted that even secret labs in Ukraine funded by the U.S. government sounds preposterous and the beginnings of a conspiracy theory. But at the same time, Carlson pointed out that while America and Ukraine deny the accusations as nothing more than Russian propaganda, the ones labeling it “fake news” are the same ones controlling the narrative.
It should be noted that while the Biden administration might blame Russia for spreading false information, the Democrats accusing Russia isn’t a new trick. Back during the 2016 election, after Hillary Clinton lost, the Democrats suggested Trump had worked with Russia to steal the election from the American people. Another narrative that would later be deemed false.
Still, with the news that the United States secretly funded biolabs in Ukraine making headlines, John Kirby, the Press Secretary for the Pentagon, made sure to downplay the accusations, saying they were nothing but absurd and at most, “laughable.” Take a look.
Knowing that sifting for the truth can be hard, on August 29, 2005, an agreement between the United States and Ukraine was made pertaining to Weapons Proliferation. Click on the link to read the entire document.
