BURBANK, CA – On Wednesday evening, hundreds of protestors swarmed Disney headquarters in Burbank to protest some of Disney’s recent actions, which are largely seen as “woke” and pushing a sexualized and LGBT narrative on children.
Signs read things like “Disney is Demonic,” “Parents pay Attention,” and “Pedophilia is the Real Pandemic.” Fox LA’s Travis Rice said the basic theme of the protest was that people want to “keep their children innocent.”
Disney has choked on a bit of a poisoned apple lately, from its insertion into “woke” politics to it’s not-so-PG movies that have left parents dropping the Disney+ streaming app faster than they can say bibbidi-bobbidi-boo. (Yes, there will be more annoying Disney puns in this article. Sorry.)
In a tweet, political commentator Anthony Cabassa said, “Just in: Christian activist and founder of “Hold the Line” Sean Feucht is calling on Christian leaders, activists and parents alike to hold a protest at Disney HQ this Wednesday in Burbank, CA at 6pm. ‘Calling all parents. Calling the church. We’ve had enough.’”
Drew Hernandez, host of Frontlines, attended the rally and posted a video of a woman who said she was a cast member at Disneyland and has been “for quite a long time.” The woman said, “It’s gotten very political [at Disneyland], and it’s gotten very hard to be who you are. It’s gotten very hard to be someone who has conservative values, somebody who believes in the right to choose, somebody who believes that it’s ok to stand up for righteousness. It IS ok to stand up for righteousness.”
The woman continued, “Any Disney cast members that are afraid to be bold, that are afraid to be courageous: Stand up! It’s ok; you’re not alone.”
Another protestor announced that Disney is “filled with pedophiles,” which is actually accurate based on several arrests since at least 2008 regarding Disney employees and child pornography, soliciting to a child, and other sexual stings related to children.
Disney’s CEO, Bob Chapek, has become quite the villain to families and children across the nation in his outward opposition of Florida’s Parent’s Rights In Education bill (which is ineptly dubbed “don’t say gay” by the left).
Disney executives have also recently announced their commitment to creating 50% of their content for either LGBTQs or ethnic minorities as a part of their “Reimagine Tomorrow” campaign.
The corporate giant went farther than Elsa to the North Mountain when they announced that visitors to theme parks are no longer addressed as “ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,” but rather as “dreamers” and “friends.”
In the upcoming Toy Story Spinoff, Lightyear, a lesbian kissing scene is planned to be portrayed, which is to infinity and beyond their casual mention of a lesbian relationship in Onward and many other subtle LGBT easter eggs, such as in the live action Beauty and the Beast’s Lefou who had obvious sexual feelings towards his much more manly friend, Gaston.
In a meeting, Latoya Raveneau, executive producer of television animation, enthused about Disney’s diversity and boasted about “adding queerness” to shows and productions during the same all-hands conference. “Our leadership over there has been so welcoming to my not-so-secret gay agenda,” she said. “Wherever I could I was adding queerness. No one would stop me and no one was trying to stop me.”
Well, now Feucht’s group, and conservatives everywhere, are stopping her like Mulan stopped the Huns from kidnapping the Emperor. They’re standing up like Moana with the bravery of Merida, Aladdin, and Pocahontas combined and saying enough is enough.
From a priest’s erection in The Little Mermaid to the butts and boobs on Lilo’s walls to Minnie Mouse’s penis dress, parents have had enough, and it will take more than faith, trust, and pixie dust for Disney to fix this.
So far, Disney has been as silent as Dopey on the protest.
