CLEVELAND, OH – In the latest absurdity stemming from the drive to get people injected with the COVID shot, the Cleveland Clinic is reportedly refusing to allow a father to donate his near-perfect match kidney to his nine-year-old son solely because the man hasn’t taken the COVID jab.

With the push for the COVID jab, reports have been coming out over individuals who were removed from waiting lists for organ transplants simply due to them not taking the COVID shot – and Dane Donaldson and his nine-year-old son Tanner are caught up in a similar situation.

Donaldson spoke with local news outlet News 5 Cleveland about his son Tanner’s medical condition.

“Tanner’s a third grader. Personality-wise, he’s like every other kid, very happy. Just a fun kid all the way around, plays basketball. He’s now into lacrosse. At this age, there’s not a lot of contact. So he’s good there.

“Medically, a little bit different than most children. He was born with a birth defect called posterior urethral valves. It’s a valve that blocks urine from exiting the body.”

Tanner was only born with one kidney, and as it stands, the young boy’s sole kidney is operating at about 18-20% of what one should normally function. Both the boy’s father and mother are near-perfect matches, and Donaldson wanted to be the one to donate his kidney for his boy.

Yet, this past November, Donaldson was informed by Cleveland Clinic that both organ donors and recipients must have taken the COVID shots in order to undergo transplant surgeries.

Donaldson explained that his family has opted to not get the COVID shots, citing that both he and his wife have already endured previous COVID infections and recovered.

He also added how these COVID injections have been pushed incessantly since their debut, saying, “It was a little bit thrown down our throat. I mean, it was everywhere we turned. I couldn’t shop at a grocery store without hearing it over the loudspeaker. So the more it became the more just studying it, what’s involved in it, is there informed consent? Do I get to see the ingredient list?”

Donaldson tried to appeal to the leadership at Cleveland Clinic, stating that he called for a meeting with the team who made the decision to deny the transplant surgery – but were yet again shut down.

While Cleveland Clinic wouldn’t comment on this specific case, they’d released a statement affirming the existence of the “COVID-19 safety protocols” that include a requirement for any “active transplant candidate or living donor” to have received their COVID shot.

The clinic’s justification for this protocol is they claim there is a “much higher rate of complications during and after surgery,” for living donors and recipients in the event either become infected with COVID “around the time of their surgery and recovery.”

Dr. Jane Ruby shared a call to action on her Telegram channel, asking her followers to “fire up” the phones lines of the Cleveland Clinic in order to have people express their disgust with the clinic’s policy.

Red Voice Media would like to make a point of clarification on why we do not refer to any shot related to COVID-19 as a "vaccine." According to the CDC, the definition of a vaccine necessitates that said vaccine have a lasting effect of at least one year in preventing the contraction of the virus or disease it's intended to fight. Because all of the COVID-19 shots thus far available have barely offered six months of protection, and even then not absolute, Red Voice Media has made the decision hereafter to no longer refer to the Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson substances as vaccinations.
