The strange and glamorous world of Hollywood has always mesmerized people from all around the world who hoped to stand in front of the spotlight for only a moment. Each day, the internet is bombarded with celebrity interviews and videos of what it is like to be a part of their extravagant and outlandish lifestyle. Most recently, actress Megan Fox sat down to give an interview with Glamour UK about what it is like to live in her world. Again, while Hollywood is known for the bizarre and absurd, the actress admitted that she and her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly openly partake in drinking each other’s blood. But don’t worry, she noted it was only for “ritual purposes.”
During the interview, which can be seen below, Fox revealed, “So, I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like ‘Game of Thrones’ drinking each other’s blood. It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.”
Surprisingly, this wasn’t the first time Fox has discussed drinking the blood of Kelly. In January, after announcing their engagement, the 35-year-old admitted that they “drank each other’s blood” to solidify the occasion.
Although shocking, Fox was sure to state that it was controlled. “I’m much more controlled. I read tarot cards and I’m into astrology and I’m doing all these metaphysical practices and meditations. And I do rituals on new moons and full moons, and all these things. And so, when I do it, it’s a passage or it is used for a reason. And it is controlled where it’s like, ‘Let’s shed a few drops of blood and each drink it.’”
As for Kelly’s regiment, “He’s much more haphazard and hectic and chaotic, where he’s willing to just cut his chest open with broken glass and be like, ‘Take my soul.’”
It should be noted that before Fox and Kelly shared each other’s blood, two other Hollywood stars were known to wear a vial of each other’s blood around their necks. The couple was Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton. Speaking with Page Six, Thornton’s son, Harry James, explained that Fox and Kelly were nothing more than “copycats” trying to imitate what his father and stepmom once did.
James added, “I think it’s gross to have someone’s DNA wrapped around your neck all day. It’s definitely interesting.”
Comments online weren’t surprising, with one writing, “And the next step…sucking adrenochrome out of frightened children. Let’s be honest here.”
Another one mentioned, “Unless you drink my blood and eat my body, you have no life in you,….I AM the bread of Life….Jesus Christ.”
