HOUSTON, TX – A Houston, Texas incident is responsible for the shooting deaths of two people, with three other repored injuries.
The incident occurred around 1:07pm at a flea market in the 8700 block of Airline Drive, where Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said thousands of citizens were located.
Gonzalez said five Hispanic males in their 20s got into some type of “altercation” inside the market area. The men appeared to know each other. After shots were fired, two people ended up dead, and the three others were taken to the hospital.
Two possible suspects were detained at the scene, one of whom was transported to the hospital.
Police say no innocent bystanders were injured. Two firearms were recovered at the scene.
