TAMPA, FL – According to a report from Just the News, numerous players from MLB team the Tampa Bay Rays are refusing to adorn rainbow-laden logos on their uniforms meant to celebrate the LGBT community, claiming the patches run at odds with their religious beliefs.
Team president Matt Silverman said that the addition of these rainbow-colored patches/insignias to the uniforms and hats of players as being part of the team’s celebration of “Pride Nights.”

“Our Pride Nights continue to grow both in terms of visibility and participation. By doing this, we extend an invitation not just for this game but for all of our games that the LGBTQ+ community is invited, welcomed, and celebrated.”
However, when it comes to matters revolving around the LGBT lifestyle – not everyone is going to be on board with the idea of promoting the behavior associated with said community.
Tampa Bay Ray pitchers Jason Adam, Jalen Beeks, Brooks Raley, Jeffrey Springs, and Ryan Thompson were among those who decided to remove the rainbow-laden burst logo on the uniform and wear the standard Tampa Bay Rays cap during the game on June 4th.
Speaking on the behalf of his teammates who opted out of adorning the pro-LGBT insignias, Adam spoke with the Tampa Bay Times about the matter, saying that the decision was mostly related to personal religious beliefs.

“A lot of it comes down to faith, to like a faith-based decision. So it’s a hard decision. Because ultimately we all said what we want is them to know that all are welcome and loved here. But when we put it on our bodies, I think a lot of guys decided that it’s just a lifestyle that maybe — not that they look down on anybody or think differently — it’s just that maybe we don’t want to encourage it if we believe in Jesus, who’s encouraged us to live a lifestyle that would abstain from that behavior, just like (Jesus) encourages me as a heterosexual male to abstain from sex outside of the confines of marriage. It’s no different.”
The Tampa Bay Rays relief pitcher added, “It’s not judgmental. It’s not looking down. It’s just what we believe the lifestyle he’s encouraged us to live, for our good, not to withhold. But again, we love these men and women, we care about them, and we want them to feel safe and welcome here.”
Team officials confirmed that the wearing of the pro-LGBT patches/insignias was left as a choice for the players, but admitted that they would’ve appreciated full participation from the team.
Tampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash said that the team wants “to support our players that choose to wear or choose not to wear [the pride logos] to the best of our capabilities.”

When a person says that [(Evil) influencing children in gender identity,] is a good thing is mentally disturbed. I taught my child to be a free and independent thinker. He is now a grown man an does what is right for himself and does not force his belief on no individual. The so call teachers in public school have shown their true colors. A good proverb is, a child in the ways he should be and he will not depart from his up bringing.
Hate to burst your bubble choir boy but Jesus didn’t marry.
BTW biggest satanic fraud is the modern wedding vows agreeing to forsaking all others and all that love only you hook bait and sinker No Traditional Christian wedding was yo be loyal to one another and stay together and not root about but was still the point to love only God.Not each other Romantic love is a new invention of satanists who created the romantic era of English literature with intentions to take all Christians away from God and hook them into sexuality as their down fall from grace..
Romantic love like romeo and Julie was a subject of humour and derision That play was a comedy Not a drama.Maybe melodrama but basically ridiculing young stupid “romantics” with their baby love fantasies.
Your point? I’m sure we’d all like to hear that.
Before you continue spewing nonsense, manmade theology, it would be a great idea for you to, actually, READ God’s Word. I’m referring to the Bible.
Apparently, you have no knowledge of Scripture and you, certainly, have NO relationship with Jesus Christ.
If you are inferring Christ never married because he was a homosexual,, you are totally ignorant of Scripture.
So, Anonymous, I recommend you start with John’s Gospel. You can learn so much about Jesus there. Hopefully enough to stop making blasphemous statements about the most precious, perfect GIFT to the World……… our Savior, Christ- Son of the Living God.
