Keith Menefee is a retired Navy Senior Chief in Special Operations.

Since retiring from the service, Keith has been criss-crossing the country to raise money for America’s veterans. Earlier this year, he embarked on an 800-mile voyage along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, in a custom-built 22-foot two-man kayak, to raise $50,000 for the Gary Sinise Foundation, or as you might have heard it nicknamed, the Lt. Dan Foundation. Gary Sinise played Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump, and ever since he’s been a passionate advocate for this country’s servicemen.

Keith’s voyage has taken him to a lot of far-flung parts of this country. He’s met a lot of people, and it’s given him a lot of perspective on what this country and its people are like. He says America is definitely not what you would see watching CNN or Fox News. We wanted to have him on to talk about it.

Red Voice Media would like to make a point of clarification on why we do not refer to any shot related to COVID-19 as a "vaccine." According to the CDC, the definition of a vaccine necessitates that said vaccine have a lasting effect of at least one year in preventing the contraction of the virus or disease it's intended to fight. Because all of the COVID-19 shots thus far available have barely offered six months of protection, and even then not absolute, Red Voice Media has made the decision hereafter to no longer refer to the Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson substances as vaccinations.
