Additionally, the village of Skokie fell in line, too, issuing a statement that read, “Out of an abundance of caution, today’s Skokie Fourth of July Parade has been canceled due to the shooting incident at the Highland Park Fourth of July Parade. The Skokie community grieves with our neighbors in Highland Park. A decision will be made later today regarding tonight’s fireworks at Niles West High School.”

Yeah but that’s not possible. They have the strictest gun laws in the country. Guaranteed it’s an illegal firearm and they are going to blame it on Trump.
This violence happens every week, not month, not year, WEEK in Chicago. And the mayor and governor are fully responsible.
This report has that SCAM feel about it.
Besides, I thought Blue states, touting tighter gun control laws and upright citizens, were immune to such violence occurring in their state. Oh! that’s right, I forgot. Someone from a Red state likely went there with a weapon to cause trouble. No one owns a gun in Blue states!
Is there a reason politicians start with “reassuring” people they are safe and secure? Do they think they are more important and more people care about them than the children and hardworking taxpayers? It’s baffling how they think their lives are more important and everyone loves them and is first concerned about them. I’m much more concerned about innocent little ones that are trying to enjoy what used to be typical family fun.
So, now every shooting is a “mass” shooting? If so, there are a lot of mass shootings in Chicagoland every weekend. The coward who perpetrated this shooting at what should be a wonderful celebration and timely reminder of our freedoms as Americans needs to be treated as a traitor. Immediately. And publicly. On film. And rebroadcast repeatedly. Let other would-be shooters burn that dangling image in their head. It will be a more effective deterrent than anything else. Most important, BEWARE: When politicians bleat, “Enough is enough!” they are talking about confiscating legally owned weapons. These kind of “representatives” are more dangerous than the shooters, themselves.
is that the neighborhood of commie Bill Ayers, formerly of the criminal underground, that was hired at the university to INDOCTRINATE the next generation with Marxism? Too bad if not so (also o’bama’s old haunting ground?)
