LOS ANGELES, CA – According to a report from The Gateway Pundit, the mother of a 13-year-old boy is filing a lawsuit after her son was allegedly bribed into taking a COVID shot at school behind her back, which the child reportedly suffered adverse reactions following the shot.

Back in December of 2021, reports surfaced about a 13-year-old boy attending the Barack Obama Global Prep Academy in Los Angeles who was allegedly coaxed into getting the COVID shot in exchange for some pizza.

Apparently, this COVID shot was administered to the child without properly notifying or obtaining the permission of the young boy’s parents.

Maribel Duarte, the child’s mother, had only learned about her son being administered the shot after he came home from school while toting a vaccination card, telling his mother that he’d taken the shot after he was enticed with some free pizza.

Duarte told NBC Los Angeles back in December, “It hurt to know he got a shot without my permission, without knowing and without signing any papers for him to get the shot.” At the time, Duarte claimed that the person who administered the shot to her son aided in forging a parental permission slip, with this person allegedly telling the child, “Please don’t say anything. I don’t want to get in trouble.”

At the time of the incident, the school district had a then-impending vaccine mandate on children ages 12 or older in order to attend school, and the Los Angeles Unified School District did confirm the existence of a “safe schools to safe steps incentive program” that awarded prizes to students who obtained the COVID shot.

According to district officials, the ushering in of said program was rolled out in light of the “January 10, 2022, student vaccination deadline,” but wouldn’t comment on the alleged unauthorized COVID shot administered to the child at the time of the incident.

On July 27th, Duarte and her attorney, Nicole Pearson, announced their intent to file a lawsuit against the Los Angeles Unified School District over her son being administered the COVID shot behind her back as well as the child having suffered adverse effects in the wake of being jabbed.

According to Duarte, her son began experiencing respiratory, bleeding, and sleeping issues in the aftermath of his COVID shot, telling reporters while accompanied by her attorney, “He’s not the same anymore. He’s lacking of breath, he doesn’t sleep well, he doesn’t do exercise the way he did. He is not normal to me.”

Duarte’s attorney stated that the family is filing the lawsuit after the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Barack Obama Global Prep Academy ignored a previously filed damage claim stemming from the unauthorized administration of the COVID shot on the child.

The Los Angeles Unified School District issued a brief statement in light of the announced lawsuit, stating, “Los Angeles Unified does not typically comment on threatened, pending or ongoing litigation matters.”

Red Voice Media would like to make a point of clarification on why we do not refer to any shot related to COVID-19 as a "vaccine." According to the CDC, the definition of a vaccine necessitates that said vaccine have a lasting effect of at least one year in preventing the contraction of the virus or disease it's intended to fight. Because all of the COVID-19 shots thus far available have barely offered six months of protection, and even then not absolute, Red Voice Media has made the decision hereafter to no longer refer to the Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson substances as vaccinations.
