Campaigning is already hard with long trips and even longer hours, but it can be almost impossible when the candidate has very little to offer the American people and voters. That is exactly where Joe Biden finds himself at with the 2022 midterms right around the corner. No longer able to rely on the mainstream media and criticizing former President Donald Trump, Biden might praise his party and suggest they will remain in control after November, but on Wednesday, he addressed the growing possibility of a Republican takeover.

Speaking to supporters in New York City on Wednesday, Joe Biden urged people to get out and vote by warning about the dangers within the GOP. He said, “If we lose control of the House and Senate, we have a different world. I’ll be spending all my time with the veto pen, but it won’t be a lot of initiatives. We’re up this — this election is going to be tight — very tight. And if we lose the House and the Senate, it changes the trajectory of much of what we do.”

He explained to donors about the supposed enormous opportunity held by his administration if given more time. He apparently forgot to give details on what the opportunity might entail. And if that wasn’t enough, at the beginning of September, he tried to normalize his party losing in November by stating only one President maintained the majority throughout his time at the White House, former President George W. Bush.

As for the Democratic favorite Barack Obama, Joe Biden admitted, “Remember Barack? We lost 60-some vote — we lost 60-some House members, et cetera.”

On Thursday, Joe Biden reverted back to his usual antics of accusing the Republicans of being nothing more than MAGA Extremists. “What the Republicans are for? Can anybody here — and I’m not joking — can anybody here tell me what the Republican platform is?” He continued, “The fact is that extreme Republicans are going to take us backwards — the MAGA Republicans, full of hate and disorder. And it’s just — there’s just a lot at stake. And we have to choose a different path.”

If that wasn’t enough to scare voters blue, Biden insisted the GOP would raise taxes and support restrictions on abortion. “They’re going to raise — I won’t go through the whole thing. I won’t bore you with it. You’ve got to — you’ll figure it out. It’s a very different, different view. A very different view.” He also mentioned another Democratic favorite – the assault weapons ban. “I promise you, as long as I’m your President — before I leave, whether it’s in four years or eight years, it is going to — we’re going to have the assault weapons ban again.”
