Democrats continually present themselves as the best option for the United States and its citizens. They claim to want peace, unity, and acceptance. But while that is what they claim, a quick look at their strongholds around the country paints an entirely different picture. For starters, places like Chicago and California have been riddled with surging violence, crime, and looting. In Philadelphia, a mother and daughter were doing nothing more than walking to their car when a carjacker ambushed them with a gun, taking not just the car but their purses as well.
Thankfully, while the altercation was frightening for the mother and daughter, neither were injured by the suspect. According to police, the criminal stealing the car was no sudden act. They claimed that the thief had waited for the women. He even rode a bicycle to the area and casually anticipated the mother leaving. Police Capt. John Ryan insisted, “It appears he was laying in wait. He rode a bicycle up there and left the bicycle behind. We have that.” Around 6:30 in the morning, the mother and daughter found themselves staring at a loaded weapon.
While the mother and daughter are safe, Captain John Ryan added a precaution for those who find themselves in a similar situation. “Our recommendation is always not to resist and not get yourselves hurt in these situations. It’s not worth you being injured or hurt worse than that.” For now, there has been no arrest made pertaining to the incident.
Just a few weeks ago, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced $100 million in funding that would go to fighting crime and violence in the state. At the time, he admitted, “Reducing gun violence has to be a top priority for all of us. It is for me. Our children deserve safety.” Giving the funds to community groups, the Democrat added, “These moneys are not going to somebody out there who is studying sort of the abstract, academic issues. These are folks working on the ground in the communities that know exactly what is going on. They can support a wide range of programs to address community violence.”
At the same time, the state decided to spend a staggering $45 million on new state parks. Fox News reported, “Pennsylvania is spending $45 million to add new state parks at a nature preserve in Tunkhannock, on Big Elk Creek in the Philadelphia suburbs and along the Susquehanna River near Wrightsville, officials were set to announce Tuesday. The additions to the state’s 121-park system will be an existing nearly 700-acre nature preserve on the Vosburg Neck in Wyoming County, a 1,700-acre tract in Chester County, and some 1,100 acres in York County.”
As for what users thought, one simply put, “They won’t be safe after dark. For the 1st week. Then they won’t be safe anytime.”
