Subway Showdown: Passenger Wrestles Gun From Thug, Shoots Him In The Head [VIDEOS]

Disturbing footage captured a violent clash between two individuals aboard a Brooklyn subway car, causing panic among commuters during the Thursday rush hour. The video, recorded by a passenger on a northbound A train, confirmed witness accounts and showed one man instigating another before multiple gunshots were fired as the train stopped at the A/C Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets station.

According to the police, the instigator, age 36, was shot with his own gun when the other man, age 32, managed to seize it from him and retaliate. Prior to the shooting, the two men engaged in a physical altercation for several minutes, despite pleas from fellow passengers noting the presence of children onboard.

The video revealed the 36-year-old instigator vehemently shouting threats and offensive language at the other man, urging him to stand up for himself. Eventually, the 32-year-old, who had tried to ignore the provocation, jumped out of his seat and engaged in a physical confrontation. Passengers implored the men to stop, emphasizing the presence of young children.

As the altercation continued, a young woman intervened by striking the 36-year-old on the back. In response, the instigator redirected his anger towards her. Another passenger, wearing a reflective vest, managed to separate the two men temporarily. However, the younger man challenged the aggressor once again, asking the woman if she had stabbed him, to which she denied any involvement.

The situation took a sinister turn when the 36-year-old threw his jacket onto a seat and retrieved a gun from his pocket. He cocked the weapon and charged at the 32-year-old. In the ensuing chaos, passengers reacted with panic, moving to the other side of the car, some even throwing themselves to the ground. At least four gunshots were heard as the train pulled into the A/C Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets station.

The 32-year-old, now in possession of the gun, was swiftly apprehended by the police before he could leave the subway car. The wounded 36-year-old, considered the instigator, was immediately transported to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in critical condition, where he underwent surgery.

Upon the police’s arrival, the subway car was described as being “covered with blood and ballistics.” A small caliber firearm was retrieved from the scene. It remains unclear whether the shooter will face charges, as authorities assert that the “victim appears to be the aggressor.”
