Armed Suspect Jumps From 3rd Floor Before Being Fatally Shot By LAPD SWAT [VIDEO]

Los Angeles, CA – In the early hours of Thursday, March 21, morning, an armed robbery suspect was shot and killed by Los Angeles police during the execution of a search and arrest warrant in Reseda. The incident took place at around 4:45 a.m. on Reseda Boulevard, in a residential area between Roscoe Boulevard and Sherman Way.

A team of police detectives and SWAT personnel were on-site to carry out the warrant when the wanted man, armed with a rifle, emerged, as confirmed by authorities at the scene. By shortly after 5 a.m., he jumped from a balcony, engaging with the officers.

LAPD Detective Meghan Aguilar revealed, “He did exit, but he did not come willingly to the officers. He was armed with a rifle. At which point the officers who saw him exit did give him commands to drop the rifle.” However, despite the repeated commands, the suspect did not comply.

As a result, an officer-involved shooting ensued, with the suspect being struck by gunfire. He was then immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
