In the process of responding to the incident, a police officer discharged his weapon, striking a 15-year-old male suspect, who was reportedly armed in the shoulder and leg. The officer promptly disarmed the suspect and transported him to the hospital for treatment.

According to Commissioner Bethel’s statement, police officers stationed at the event heard around 30 gunshots, indicating a volley of gunfire.
