Fwiw the $90+ billion sent to Ukraine so far would have built at least 3 complete walls on the southern border, but not 10. The actual estimates were that a wall would cost $25-$30 billion and be built over 5-6 years, so costing about $5 billion per year. Notice that if you took $5 billion/year out of the so-called U.S. “Defense” budget, that $5 billion/year would be only 2/3rds of 1% of the “Defense” budget (which is at least $750 billion/year at this point, probably more) and would likely not be missed. Dare the Congress to put this to a referendum and i bet 75% of the people of this country vote to fund the wall.
