Petition to Speaker Of The House: Put America First by Ending Ukraine War Funding and Securing Our Southern Border

Dear Speaker of the House,

We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned American citizens who elected you to prioritize the well-being and security of our great nation. It’s high time we cease federal funding for the war in Ukraine and reallocate those crucial resources to securing our Southern border, a cornerstone of national security.

We Must Secure Our Southern Border

  • Strengthen Border Security: According to the most recent Customs and Border Protection (CBP) statistics, over 2.8 million migrants have encountered authorities during this fiscal year alone, surpassing the more than 2.7 million migrants in 2022. Our Southern border is a critical issue that demands immediate and decisive action to prevent illegal immigration, drug and human trafficking, and potential terror threats.

The Case Against Funding Ukraine

  • Ambiguous Objectives: Our financial involvement in Ukraine lacks clarity and is depleting crucial resources.
  • Distracting National Focus: Our extensive commitment in Ukraine diverts our focus and resources from domestic issues that directly affect American citizens.
  • Risk of Provoking Russia: Continued military and financial involvement in Ukraine could potentially escalate tensions with Russia, raising the risk of triggering a larger conflict, possibly even World War III.
