Joe Biden has never hidden his attitude to the 45th US president. He even called him a “sick f**k,” which indicates a low level of political correctness of the current head of state. Moreover, such statements confirm the fact that Biden still considers Trump a serious threat to his political leadership, and these thoughts have a serious basis. According to polls, none of the candidates to win the upcoming elections in November has a clear advantage over their opponent – the chances of both Biden and Trump are estimated at about 50 to 50.

A characteristic feature of any government is that political leaders will try to discredit and eliminate their competitors to the last. This practice has long been considered “normal,” and America is no exception in this matter. Immediately after his inauguration in January 2021, Biden began to consistently level all the merits achieved by the previous administration. Every public appearance is a mention of Trump in a negative context. Every briefing by White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is “not our mistakes, but those of the previous administration.”

These actions are carried out with a completely understandable purpose – to remove his opponent from the political arena due to his high popularity. In addition to discrediting Republican politicians during a few interviews, Democratic media has launched a major campaign to demonize Trump and MAGA Republicans. The events of January 6, 2021, gave Biden’s team another thesis that they successfully promoted in publications – “Trump is a criminal who needs to be tried.”

About the courts, by the way. Lawsuits involving presidents are by no means uncommon. Leaders who have left office since 2000 have been jailed or prosecuted in at least 78 countries, including Europe, according to Axios. The reasons for this, most often, were corruption and bribery.

They took Trump seriously. Since the end of his presidential term, he has been tried for storing secret documents at Mar-a-Lago, interfering in the 2020 election, forgery of financial documents, payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels, vote manipulation in Georgia, etc.

Barack Obama participates in charity evenings and social activities, George W. Bush drinks wine at his Texas ranch, and Bill Clinton occasionally appears at Biden’s public appearances. Trump case is a different story. During these three years, Biden and his team tried to crush him with numerous lawsuits, probably counting on the fact that against the background of solving problems with the law, the former president would not be able to launch a new campaign.

Democrats’ expectations fell short. Trump, first, did not give up; secondly, did not lose the opportunity to run; thirdly, he retained popularity among its electorate, which was subsequently clearly demonstrated by the Republican primaries.

When it became clear that the US legal system could not prevent Trump from the election, a case appeared with the state of Colorado, where a local court decided to ban him from running, citing the alleged guilt of the politician in the “assault” on the Capitol. Following Colorado, a similar decision was made in Maine and Illinois. However, the point in the case was put by the US Supreme Court, which unanimously overturned this ban.

July is just around the corner, where Trump, unless something supernatural happens, will be nominated as the GOP nominee at the upcoming Convention. The question is, what else could happen in the next three months?

First of all, the legal proceedings against Trump are not over. They are unlikely to threaten his presidential nomination, but they will definitely be an irritating factor. It’s funny that Trump expressed his attitude to the events taking place most directly at the court itself in New York.

There is also a radical option – Democrats, tired of strengthening Trump’s position against the background of Biden’s failed policy, can attempt to assassinate the republican politician. Sounds like absurd, right? But think – what prevents the same Biden from using the power of the US special services, to carry out such an operation? In the media, this can be filed as you like – “tragic death due to cardiac arrest,” “car incident,” or “an ardent patriot of his country, disagreeing with the political vector that Trump proposed.” As a result, it turns out that the authorities are not involved, and everything happens by itself.

Several publications say that such attempts have already been made. In particular, Tucker Carlson has repeatedly said that “We’re speeding toward Trump assassination.” The liberal media, of course, consider these statements to be conspiracy theories, refusing to accept the obvious – Democrats CAN go for it.

It makes no sense to assess the potential consequences of such an act, which in any case will contribute to the further fall of the Democratic Party. Joe Biden, without noticing it, turns into a dictator who is trying with all his might to seize power, which he is no longer able to manage in his right mind. And who knows what else he will do to get rid of the main irritant in Trump and his team. Having tried everything – discrediting in public speeches, pressure in the media, numerous legal proceedings – one should not doubt the possibility of applying extreme measures.
