Surveillance footage captured the suspect using a belt to choke the victim until she lost consciousness, after which he dragged her between two parked cars and committed sexual assault.

Authorities released photos of the suspect, who was seen wearing white sweatpants, a blue GAP sweatshirt, and a white do-rag, hoping the public could help in identifying him. The images depict a masked man, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, with cropped hair, who was also carrying a backpack at the time of the attack.
