The upheaval commenced in Richmond Hill, Queens, during the early hours of Saturday, where a tragic incident transpired at a baby shower hosted at 108-11 Atlantic Ave. Four men fell victim to the gunfire, with one 24-year-old succumbing to a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. Tragically, the 24-year-old victim was pronounced deceased at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, while the two surviving victims received medical attention at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Queens, where they were reported to be in stable condition. Furthermore, a fourth victim, a 43-year-old man, sought medical aid independently and arrived at Jamaica Hospital in a stable condition with injuries to both his arms and legs.

At present, no arrests have been made, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing, as confirmed by the New York Police Department.
Shortly after this harrowing event, at approximately 1:40 a.m., a 25-year-old man fell victim to a gunshot wound to the head outside 199-23 Linden Blvd. near 200th Street in Jamaica. The victim’s condition was described as critical, and he underwent treatment at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. Regrettably, no arrests have yet been made in connection with this incident.
